Navigating adolescence with confidence and connection.
Building Buddies is a holiday program for young people aged 11–14, designed to help children build the social skills and confidence they need to navigate friendships, school, and the challenges of adolescence.
Using collaborative Minecraft adventures alongside structured social skill activities, this program draws on evidence-informed frameworks including Stop Think Do, Social Thinking®, and Everyday Speech. It’s a fun, engaging space where participants can practise real skills in a supportive environment.
At the conclusion of the program, families receive a written summary of their child’s participation and practical strategies to support their continued development.

Nadia, our founder, had a vision to transform child development care. During her training and professional career, she saw kids how fragmented systems failed children with complex needs.
She believed finding the right support shouldn’t be an exhausting battle
So in 2017, Nadia opened Spectrum Therapy to turn that dream into reality.
Since then, we’ve grown into a team of passionate professionals — speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and exercise physiologists — united by a shared mission to serve families with children with different abilities.
We're proud to offer a neurodiverse-affirming space where your child can thrive, grow, and receive comprehensive care under one roof.
