Pencil Pals

Building the fine motor foundations for writing and beyond.

Pencil Pals is a hands-on holiday program for children aged 3–6 who would benefit from extra support with handwriting, fine motor skills, or hand strength. Run by Spectrum Therapy occupational therapists, sessions are engaging, playful, and designed to build essential skills in a fun, supportive environment.

At the conclusion of the program, families receive a written summary of their child’s participation and practical strategies to continue building skills at home.

What we focus on

  • Fine motor skill development through hands-on activities
  • Hand grip and hand strength for everyday tasks like cutting and drawing
  • Letter formation for clearer, more confident handwriting

Where: Spectrum Therapy Australia, Baulkham Hills

When: Thursday 1 & Friday 2 October, 9:00–11:00am

It all started with a big dream.

Nadia, our founder, had a vision to transform child development care. During her training and professional career, she saw kids how fragmented systems failed children with complex needs.

She believed finding the right support shouldn’t be an exhausting battle

So in 2017, Nadia opened Spectrum Therapy to turn that dream into reality.

Since then, we’ve grown into a team of passionate professionals — speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and exercise physiologists — united by a shared mission to serve families with children with different abilities.

We're proud to offer a neurodiverse-affirming space where your child can thrive, grow, and receive comprehensive care under one roof.
